Rexcan III

Professional High-End 3D Scanner

Exclusively from RSI:

New High End 3D Scanners REXCAN III

After having introduced Solutionix’ new 3D scanners on the EuroMold 2008 with great success, RSI GmbH now has also signed an exclusive distribution agreement for their products in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

Based on the fringe projection principle these scanners further complement RSI’s range of products in the upper segment, providing the user with high precision and com fortable 3D measurement systems, e.g. for reverse engineering and inspection.

The Rexcan III is a high performance industrial 3D scanner developed for quality inspection and reverse engineering.

Rexcan III is equiped with a high resolution twin-camera and white-light Phase Shifting Triangulation (PST) to provide supreme accuracy and resolution, with decreased data noise. User convenience is maximized by implementing Solutionix's abundant knowledge in the field of measurement.
Rexcan III uses two sets of high resolution camera in addition to Solutionix's unique multi-stripe pattern projection technique in order to provide high resolution 3D data. The accuracy and surface noise of Rexcan III data are better than 10 micrometer and is certified by the German standard VDI 2635 part 2.

Features

High precision, high resolution

Rexcan III has 4 inter-upgradeable camera models 0.8M, 1.4M, 2.0M, 5.0M and provides high resolution, high accuracy (less than 10µm) with low noise by its phase shifting optical triangulation and CCD twin-cameras technology.

The accuracy of each manufactured Rexcan III is tested with German standard VDI 2634 part 2.

Flexible scanning area

Rexcan III supports 4 differents camera positions (from 420mm stand of distance to 1340mm), so the user can choose 4 scanning areas for the scanning object. Also Rexcan III supports 5 different set of lenses (from 12mm focus lenght to 50mm). With this 5 set of lenses and the 4 different camera position for each set of lens, Rexcann III supports 20 scanning areas (from 66mm to 912mm). The user can select the most appropriate scanning area for the object to measure.

Measurement Depth

Due to an enhanced depth/diameter ratio, which was achieved by an additional 10° triangulation angle with Rexcan III, deep areas on objects are no longer difficult for scanning.

Depth-diameter ratio > 1.5

Large Data Handling

Ez Scan 2006, operating software of Rexcan III, handles up to 100 millions of measurement points, and therefore it can preserve the details of the measurement data throughout the measurement process

Automatic Scanning Process

For Rexcan III it is possible to get a fully automated scan system. Two different systems for scan automation are available, the ARX 300, for scanning objects up to 300mm and the ARX 600, for scanning objects up to 600mm. Due the fully automated process, the speed and repeatability of scan results have been increased significantly. Also it is possible to save the scan paths for scanning similar objects.
