Twin-camera technology The Rexcan DS2 boasts a function for obtaining a single set of data with two cameras. Therefore,
precision of the data obtained by the Rexcan DS2 is highly superior when compared with other
scanners which obtain data with a single camera.
White light scanning The white light scanning technology allows the user to obtain data that are much clearer than the
conventional laser type. This feature realizes clearer (noise-free) 3D data.
2-Axis Rotation During Rexcan DS2’s scanning process, objects can be rotated along 2 axis automatically, so that even the objects with complicated geometry and undercuts can be measured in a more detailed and precise way.
Auto-Scan Support for More Convenience Rexcan DS2 is capable of scanning objects automatically along both pre-set and customized paths, which could also be reused for later similar shaped objects.
Various Scanning Jigs With various jigs, Rexcan DS2 is capable of scanning objects of various shapes and sizes, ranging from a single tooth model to an entire upper / lower-jaw teeth model.
Rapid Scanning Process Rexcan DS2 significantly saves its scanning time by using surface-based phase-shifting technique in stead of curve-based laser technique.
Deep scanning The Rexcan DS2 has a narrow angle between two cameras, therefore it can ensure securing line
of sight for complicated models such as impressions.
Sharp margin lines The Rexcan DS2 employs high-resolution cameras, and is designed for the optimal measurement
of sharp margin lines.
Variant scanning size As for small models such as inlays, onlays and implants, it is possible to select the most
appropriate scanning areas for the models.
Open system The basic output format of the Rexcan DS2 is the STL, so any design software can utilize the file.
Compact size With dimensions of 212 mm x 340 mm x 449 mm, the Rexcan DS2 is the most ideal scanner for
use in labs with limited space.
